TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Understanding the technology in any office environment is an important skill that helps improve employee performance.  The goal of this training is to enable the participants to make the leap from traditional storage methods to cloud and interactive, collaborative methods.  By teaching the advantages of the cloud apps we can come up with the solution that fits the business best.  This program is best suited for the small office that wants to have their information accessible, shareable and organized.

In this certificate program each participant will learn the following:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft OneNote
  • Microsoft OneDrive

Learning Modules

The learning will be broken into distinctive learning modules so that the participant can focus on the theory and have hands-on practice.

Microsoft Teams

Objective:  Learn the fundamentals of Teams and see how it suits your organization / business.

In this module each participant will learn:

  • how Teams fits into their organization
  • how to create different Teams
  • how to create channels
  • how to invite others to the Team
  • the apps available in Teams
  • how to create tabs for documents, tasks, notebooks, etc.
  • how to use Chat, calls and meetings
  • how to search your activity and how to filter

Outcomes:  Participant will have clear understanding of how to setup and use Teams.

Instruction will be hands-on.
Hours: 4 hours

Cost of this Module per person:  $250.00

Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 8 people per session.

Microsoft SharePoint

Objective:  Learn the fundamentals of SharePoint and see how it suits your organization / business.

In this module each participant will learn:

  • how SharePoint fits into their organization
  • how to create a SharePoint Site
  • how to organize their SharePoint site
  • how to invite others to the SharePoint site
  • how to share a document in SharePoint 
  • how to work with Check-in and Check-out in SharePoint 
  • how to search for documents and items in SharePoint 

Outcomes:  Participant will have clear understanding of how to setup and use SharePoint.

Instruction will be hands-on.
Hours: 8 hours

Cost of this Module per person:  $500.00

Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 8 people per session.

Microsoft OneDrive

Objective:  Learn the fundamentals of OneDrive and see how it suits your organization / business.

In this module each participant will learn:

  • how OneDrive fits into their organization
  • how to access and edit files in OneDrive
  • how to share inside or outside your organization
  • how to search for files in OneDrive

Outcomes:  Participant will have clear understanding of how to setup and use OneDrive.

Instruction will be hands-on.
Hours: 3 hours

Cost of this Module per person:  $187.50

Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 8 people per session.

Microsoft OneNote

Objective:  Learn the fundamentals of OneNote and see how it suits your organization / business.

In this module each participant will learn:

  • how OneNote fits into their organization
  • how to access OneNote
  • how to create Notebooks, Sections and Pages
  • how to share Notebooks
  • how to enter and edit different types of  information in OneNote (text, pictures, documents, emails, hyperlinks)
  • how to search with OneNote 

Outcomes:  Participant will have clear understanding of how use OneNote.

Instruction will be hands-on.
Hours: 4 hours

Cost of this Module per person:  $250.00

Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 8 people per session.

Summary

Course Manuals or Notes are included in all training modules.

Support on topics is included throughout the program.

Participants learning will be accessed and evaluated based on their hands-on experiences and their completion of homework between modules.

Between sessions there will be homework to be done by the participants.

Totals

Total Training duration: 1 to 2 months (when reserving 1 half day per week for training).

Total Training hours: 19 hours.

Total cost of course per person:  $1,187.50
